Phosphorus

Skippy is liking the California Naturals, the Herring and Sweet Potato is the lowest in phosphorus and so in rotating him out I am going to try the Karma which is made by the same company. I had read that a lower protein food is the best but now I am learning about phosphorus. I will not buy a food that does not tell the phosphorus content(A good dog food will have phosphorus which is good for your dogs bones and teeth but it should not be in large amounts). When in doubt though staying at 22% protein is probably going to be less in phosphorus since most of your phosphorus is going to be found in protein.
